Release the inner child for your best friend at their special occasion, or remind someone of a special somewhere or something.

When you reach 21 you still just want to have fun; so you have a fancy dress party and go as Tinkerbell and then you go to Paris for the weekend with Eeyore.....(well, maybe not with Eeyore....but if you like him you can have him immortalised in chocolate)

When you hit the big five-oh you want to do it in style.....

This cake was commissioned for a 25th Wedding Anniversary; the couple have a holiday home in Puglia which is a "trullo" and the brief was to make an edible representation of the house, unfortunately the photos to work from were sparse;

....but Caroline was able to produce a cake that was unmistakeably their trulli!

....albeit with chocolate lemon and olive tree and a few personal jokes thrown in. (and a banner saying "Happy 25th Anniversary!")

What is it about young men and cars? This is a birthday cake for a man who builds and races his own cars...it is a replica in chocolate cake, complete with all the sponsors' phone numbers and website addresses!

here is another view....

This cake is a 21st Birthday cake for a self confessed foodie......the original idea was a Sunday Lunch cake and this developed as a roast leg of lamb cake.  It is completely suitable for vegetarians (only real meat is murder!) and everything can be eaten; the leg of lamb is made of lemon cake, the carving set is modelling chocolate and the vegetables are all fondant.

The carving set are actually a chocolate replica of one of his 21st birthday presents:

 stop press!

We had an email asking if this really was cake....so here is the proof of the pudding...

This is a chocolate cake with chocolate filling and covered in homemade modelling chocolate......it also happens to resemble a certain brand of designer handbag....Louis Vuitton!

...it also has a modelling chocolate replica of a chocolate bar....the ultimate chocoholic cake?

This cake was made for a young lady's 21st...she is something of a shoe enthusiast...but she doesn't own a pair of real Manolo Blahniks

Though now she has some crafted in chocolate!

Peter has been in the egg trade for most of his life and this was a fiftieth birthday cake...

This cake is for a Harley-Davidson enthusiast....apparently it brought tears to his eyes!

This is another of Caroline's Aston Martin DB9s

This Cake was made for a lady who allows her Pekes to sleep on her bed...

This cake was commissioned for a 21st Birthday party for a young man...not by his doting parents but by his wicked mates!  We have shown the development of the cake in all its glory!

This is another Aston Martin DB9 but this time the client wanted the scenary as well (he wanted lots of cake!)

...and, since the weather has been challenging he even got a topical joke...

This cake was requested as a 21st Birthday cake for a guy who wants a specific type of sports car....he got it for his birthday....just a bit smaller than he hoped!

A young lady was turning 18 and her absolute pride possession is her Mulberry clutch bag....it is now immortalised in icing!

This cake was produced for a couple's wedding anniversary, between them they are skiing, baby-grand owning Fulham fans and these facets were all wanted in the design of the cake.

Amazingly this cake was damaged after delivery but 24 hours before it was needed for the celebration, Caroline's Rapid Repair Service swung into action to ensure the event still went with a bang (Some of these are the after repair photos!)

That picture on the top is actually a miniature of the couple's wedding photo from 40 years ago, set in a frame of silver icing!

This was an 18th birthday cake and the brief was for something grown up but girly and pink!

This was made for a young lady who's party was themed on Miss World...the birthday girl was Miss Scotland!

This cake is full of obscure personal references that mean something to the recipient, and their guests, trust me!

Fathers day for the couch potato......

...or a birthday for a shopaholic...

These two are beautiful flower tubs...so realistic that the caterers wanted to move the flowers off the tea table for reasons of food hygiene!

Some grown-ups remember their childhood with great fondness

This was for a couple who met on the railway station platform....it wasn't a "Brief Encounter"; this was a wedding anniversary cake!

Continuing the loving theme, this may look like a box of chocolates but the heartshaped box is a cake, with an icing lid!

This one was for a lady who just loved to play the game!

This gives an idea of what you could have for a musician in your life

Or this might be appropriate for the man in your life, no matter what type of six-pack he has!

This cake was made for a young lady who loved handbags and leopard print!

This 50th Wedding anniversary cake apparently had half the OAP population of Essex "raving"!
